About

I'm Khaled Ghanem, a Syrian medical doctor doing my training residency in pediatrics at American University of Beirut Medical Center. I'm interested in social media, medical writing and electronic publishing.

I believe that medicine is not only a science or job, it's rather a way in which we help each other being happy and healthy. I don't prescribe antibiotics to kill the germs but to relieve the child pain, fever and prevent further suffering of his soul.

I started this blog not only to archive my observations during my daily practice of medicine but also to create an appropriate atmosphere for clinical discussions in order to enhance our knowledge.

I imagine my self browsing this blog 10 years later searching for my experience in managing 2 patients of diabetes insipidus in 2011. I wish I create the worldwide most interactive daily medical experience blog. I can do that inshaAllah!
